After the terrorist attacks on the September 11th, 2001, Osama bin Laden became public enemy number one and part of the collective consciousness of most members of the Western world.On May 1st, 2011, Bin Laden was shot and killed by American Special Forces. This ended his leadership of Al Qaeda, the global terrorist network, and his reign of terror on America, and other states who support the American way of life, liberal democracy, and values.
